Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing SAP applications using ABAP programming language. 

Our client is a startup dedicated to revolutionizing the lives of differently abled people. They’ve developed an innovative wearable AI device that utilizes motion recognition technology, enabling individuals to interact with smart devices and reclaim their digital autonomy. Their cutting-edge technology also supports physical therapy by providing measurable, real-time feedback for tailored practice.

 

Job Type: Full-time, Remote

Working hours aligned with Israel working days/hours

Duration: At least one year (with the possibility of extension)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs with a focus on MM (Materials Management) or PP/QM (Production Planning/Quality Management) modules.
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using SAP ABAP, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Create and manage IDocs and Adobe Forms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP ABAP developments.
  • Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices and standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Proven experience with SAP MM or PP/QM modules.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Expertise in developing applications in SAP ABAP.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Materials Management module (for the MM specialization role).
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the Production Planning/Quality Management module (for the PP/QM specialization role).
  • IDocs and Adobe Forms: Strong experience in creating and managing IDocs and Adobe Forms.
  • Excellent verbal, reading, and writing skills in English.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with remote teams.

 

This is a full-time remote position, aligning with Israel’s working days and hours. The initial contract duration is one year, with a high likelihood of extension based on performance and project requirements.
