Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned QA Product Tester Engineer to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both manual and automated testing and will be responsible for crafting detailed testing plans, and test cases, and documenting test results. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of their software products.

Location: Remote

Job Type: Full-time

– Senior(>5years): $1000~$2000+ : 130k-260k

40 hrs a week, 5 days a week, semi-fixed working hours, flexible

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and document detailed test plans and test cases.
  2. Conduct manual and automated tests to ensure product quality.
  3. Perform integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and thorough verification of sprint deliverables.
  4. Collaborate with the development team to resolve any issues that arise during the testing process.
  5. Participate actively in Agile processes, including daily stand-ups and retrospectives, to continuously improve the quality of deliverables.
  6. Ensure all features function as expected and meet the sprint goals.

 

Requirements

  1. Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role.
  2. Experience in documenting and executing detailed testing plans, test cases, and test results.
    Proficient with automated testing tools.
  3. A strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  4. Experience with Agile methodologies and participation in daily stand-ups and retrospective meetings.
  5. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. 5 years of experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
  3. Experience with tools like Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner, Fortify, Postman, Espressor, XCTest, GitLab CI, and other popular QA tools
