Job Description
Our client is seeking a qualified Software Engineer with experience in Laravel to join their team. Our client is looking to expand their team with a dynamic individual with a strong problem-solving background to solve new and exciting problems. This position requires at least 3+ years of full-time experience with Laravel framework for web application development.
You would supplement their team, helping to improve the existing products and develop new projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy but relaxed environment that is versatile and flexible with a ‘can do’ and problem-solving, positive attitude to work on a variety of exciting client-led and in-house projects. Primary work will be building an API using Laravel, Lumen micro-framework.
Working Hours: 9:00- 6:00 pm
Working Days: Monday- Friday

Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Write technical and developer documentation for new and existing applications
- Develop APIs and applications
- Design highly scalable, testable code
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Perform unit and system-level testing using various testing frameworks
- Analyze and maintain existing software applications
- Design, code, test and manage various applications
- Collaborate with engineering team and product team to establish best products
- Follow outlined standards of quality related to code and systems
- Develop automated tests and conduct performance tuning
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Nice to have:
- Experience in a microservice architecture
- Knowledge of Peer-to-peer architecture
Requirements:
- At least 3+ years of full-time experience with Laravel framework for web application development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, ‘can do’ attitude.
- Experience in developing APIs and applications using Laravel and Lumen.
- Proven ability to design highly scalable and testable code.
- Strong understanding of solving complex performance issues and architectural challenges.
- Experience in performing unit and system-level testing using various testing frameworks.
- Proven ability to analyze and maintain existing software applications.
