Job Description
Our client is looking for a Backend Engineer with a strong background in blockchain technology and a proven track record in developing MEV bots. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical expertise, hands-on experience with blockchain protocols, and a keen understanding of MEV strategies. We need someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of designing and optimizing backend systems for high performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:
– Develop, implement, and maintain backend services for MEV bots on Solana and other blockchain platforms.
– Design and optimize algorithms for trading strategies including arbitrage, front-running, back-running, and sandwich attacks.
– Write, deploy, and interact with smart contracts.
– Analyze blockchain data to identify and exploit MEV opportunities.
– Ensure the security, scalability, and efficiency of backend systems.
– Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate backend services with the overall system.
– Stay updated with the latest developments in blockchain technology and MEV strategies.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
Blockchain Expertise:
– Knowledge of Solana’s architecture, consensus mechanism, and programming languages (Rust, Solana Program Library).
– Familiarity with other blockchain platforms such as Ethereum (Solidity), Binance Smart Chain, and Polkadot.
– Understanding of cross-chain communication protocols and bridges.
MEV Knowledge:
– Understanding of MEV concepts and searcher ecosystems.
Smart Contract Development:
– Experience in writing, deploying, and interacting with smart contracts, particularly in Rust for Solana and Solidity for Ethereum.
Programming Skills:
– Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Rust, Python, Go, or Node.js.
Database Management:
– Experience with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, and blockchain-specific databases.
Data Analysis:
– Skills in data analysis and real-time data processing using tools like Python (Pandas, NumPy).
– APIs and Microservices:
– Experience in designing and implementing APIs and microservices architecture.
Professional Skills:
– Experience in developing and deploying backend services for blockchain applications.
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
– Good communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Tools and Frameworks:
– Familiarity with blockchain development environments (Truffle, Hardhat, Anchor).
– Proficiency with version control systems (Git).
– Experience with blockchain APIs (Web3.js for Ethereum, Solana Web3.js, Anchor).
– Knowledge of testing frameworks for backend services.
