As a Mid-Level QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality, performance, and scalability of our products. Working closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members, you will play a key role in enhancing our automation testing strategies and ensuring our software meets high standards.

This role has an expectation of both Quality Assurance and Quality Control. We define these as QA primarily focuses on the processes and procedures that improve quality, including training, documentation, monitoring and audits. QC focuses on the product to find defects that remain after development using a variety of testing methods.Sel

Key Responsibilities:
● Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing
using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and define
test automation strategies
● Execute automated tests, analyze results, and provide comprehensive reports on test
outcomes
● Identify and document defects, working closely with the development team to resolve
issues
● Enhanceand expand the automation test framework, ensuring it is scalable and
reusable
● Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, or similar tools) to
ensure early detection of issues
● Perform regression testing through automated scripts to verify that code changes have
not introduced new defects
● Workwith manual QA teams to transition manual test cases into automated scripts
where applicable
● Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning to provide input from a QA
automation perspective
● Stayup-to-date with the latest tools, trends, and best practices in test automation

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent
work experience
● 3-5years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on automation
testing
● Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar
● Experience in writing test scripts in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
● Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile
methodologies
● Experience with version control systems like Git and integrating automation tests with
CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub
● Ability to design and implement test frameworks from scratch
● Familiarity with API automation testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively
in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus
● Knowledge of BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and experience with frameworks like
Cucumber is advantageous
● Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.
● Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and cloud services (e.g.,
AWS) is essential.
