Our client, is seeking an experienced AWS Expert with 6-8 years of hands-on experience to drive and manage enterprise-level cloud and database migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of AWS services, specifically focused on database migration, cloud architecture, and performance optimization, along with a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation. This role requires an individual who can design scalable, high-availability cloud solutions and lead complex migrations to AWS with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Migration: Take charge of database migration projects using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and Schema Conversion Tool (SCT), ensuring smooth and efficient migration from on-prem to AWS or between clouds with minimal downtime.
• AWS Database Services: Work extensively with AWS services such as RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and Redshift to optimize and manage database architectures.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Leverage Terraform to automate resource provisioning, enabling efficient cloud infrastructure management and deployment processes.
• Cloud Architecture: Design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based solutions using AWS.
• Data Replication: Implement real-time data replication strategies via AWS DMS to support continuous migration, ensuring minimal operational disruptions.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Utilize AWS Performance Insights, RDS Enhanced Monitoring, and other performance tools to monitor and enhance the performance of databases and applications running on AWS.
• Automation & CI/CD: Contribute to DevOps efforts by automating cloud infrastructure tasks, CI/CD pipelines, and application lifecycle management, with a focus on containerization and Linux environments.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to align migration strategies and cloud solutions with organizational goals and business needs.

Key Skills & Experience:

• AWS Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including DMS, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
• Database Migration: Proven track record of successfully leading and executing large-scale, enterprise-level database migrations (on-prem to AWS/cloud-to-cloud).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expertise in Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning and management within AWS environments.
• Cloud Architecture: Deep experience in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures on AWS.
• Performance Optimization: Proficiency with AWS Performance Insights, RDS Enhanced Monitoring, and troubleshooting performance issues in cloud-hosted databases.
• DevOps & Automation: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and containerization, with a strong understanding of Linux systems.
• Migration Expertise: Strong ability to minimize downtime during large-scale migrations and ensure a seamless transition to AWS.
• Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with large, complex AWS migration projects at the enterprise level.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are desirable.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
