Job Description
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer specializing in print and packaging design to join their creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing innovative packaging designs that align with brand guidelines and appeal to target demographics. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires a strong understanding of digital design, packaging, and print production processes.
Salary: Up to 50,000 Gross (can exceed for deserving )
Location: Tripureshwor,Kathmandu
Responsibilities:
1. Research and development new trends for new bottles and packaging.
2. Develop innovative packaging designs for product lines that align with brand guidelines and appeal to target demographics and ensure all designs are ready for production.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, branding, and promotion, sales and procurement to meet brand standards and marketing objectives.
4. Support in the packaging development process, finalizing print from suppliers, and assisting in
bottle and packaging sizing and materials selection. Additionally, be responsible for selecting and finalizing materials and technicalities for print, coordinating with vendors, and making final approvals.
5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital design and packaging to ensure designs are fresh, relevant, and competitive.
6. Provide constructive feedback and support to junior designers as needed.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related field.
2. At least 2/3 years of experience in digital and packaging design.
3. Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills, with a focus on digital, packaging and print design.
4. Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
5. Proficiency in 3D object development and illustration is a plus.
6. Strong understanding of color management, print production processes, and file preparation.
7. Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
