Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Cloud DevOps Engineer with at least one year of experience in Azure, DevOps practices, Terraform, and PowerShell/Bash scripting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Working hours (6 pm to 2 am) NPT work hours (Night Shift) and remote work
Salary – (20k to 30k) Salary Negotiable+
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
– Azure Cloud Management:
– Assist in the management and optimization of Azure cloud resources.
– Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, and Storage Accounts.
– DevOps Practices:
– Implement and enhance DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes.
– Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines into their workflows.
– Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
– Utilize Terraform to define and provision infrastructure in a consistent and repeatable manner.
– Maintain and update Terraform configurations to reflect infrastructure changes.
Scripting:
– Develop PowerShell and Bash scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
– Troubleshoot and debug scripts as needed to ensure reliability and performance.
– Monitoring and Alerting:
– Configure monitoring solutions such as Azure Monitor to track system performance and health.
– Set up alerting mechanisms to proactively identify and address issues.
– Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
– Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and best practices.
– Share knowledge and provide guidance to team members on Azure, DevOps, Terraform, and scripting.
Requirements:
– Minimum of 6-12 months of experience working with Azure cloud services.
– Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools, such as Azure DevOps or similar.
– Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
– Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash.
– Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Certification in Azure (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-104) or related certifications.
– Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
– Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.
– Experience with other cloud providers such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
– Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
