Job Description

Our client is looking for a talented Next.js/React.js Developer to join the team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Next.js and React.js, along with a passion for creating high-quality web applications. As a Next.js/React.js Developer, you will collaborate with our team to build, enhance, and maintain web applications that deliver excellent user experiences.

The project timeline and cost are based on the initial requirements provided. The candidate will provide the project cost quotation by reviewing the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new user-facing features using Next.js and React.js.
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to translate designs and requirements into high-quality code.
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Next.js/React.js Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
  • Thorough understanding of Next.js and React.js and their core principles.
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux or Context API).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) in Next.js.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
  • Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
