Job Description
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Mid-Level Quality Assurance Engineer to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software testing, a good understanding of testing methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Salary: Rs 80,000- Rs 130,000 / month
Working hours: 8 hrs per day, 6:30 A.M to 2:30 PM Nepal Time -6 days a week
Type: Remote
Responsibilities:
Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications.
Perform thorough manual testing to ensure software functionality, usability, and reliability.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Create and maintain detailed test reports, summarizing test results and providing insights into product quality.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in QA tools and technologies such as Selenium, JIRA, and version control systems like Git.
Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
Strong experience in manual testing.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE.
Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
Experience with testing in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
