Job Description
The Operations Manager/Procurement Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company and managing the procurement of goods and services. This role ensures efficient and effective procurement practices, vendor management, and adherence to budgetary guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills, with a commitment to optimizing operational processes and achieving cost savings.
Location: Baluwatar, Kathmandu
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee and manage day-to-day operations to ensure smooth business processes.
– Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
– Monitor and improve the efficiency of support services such as IT, HR, and Finance.
– Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet company objectives.
– Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong vendor relationships.
– Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
Qualifications:
– Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain management principles.
– Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
