Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Junior Project Manager to join their dynamic team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project management, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Location: New Baneshwor, Kathmandu
Key Objective:
> Communicating with clients and defining requirements and project scope
> Ensuring that all projects run smoothly, assembling cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and more, and working with them to deliver results on-time and on-budget
> Responsible for managing expectations of clients and keeping them happy
> Ensuring full compliance with project management processes and values
> Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
> Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
> Report and escalate to management as needed
> Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Identify and engage project-relevant stakeholders
- Define and work on requirements with cross-functional teams
- Lead cross-functional project teams and manage work assignments
- Provide strategic insight and communication on project management processes
- Monitor and manage resource availability and allocation
- Ensure clear project goals and timelines
- Provide project estimation, planning, and budgeting
- Oversee project risk and issue management
- Lead project management team through standardization and change management
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Coach and mentor team members
- Delegate project tasks based on team members’ strengths and skills
- Track project management team performance
- Participate in hiring and interview processes
- Contribute to regular team meetings and updates
- Provide general administrative support
Requirements:
- At least 1 year experience in the relevant field
- Scrum master/PMI Agile Certified Practitioner preferred
- Past experience working in agile & scrum
- Past experience managing international clients & leading a team of Project Managers
- Past experience handling product management would be preferred
- Required skills/Competencies :
- Proficient in JIRA
- Proficient in Confluence, Roadmap, and Release plan tools
- Excellent understanding of project management phases
- Proficient in Release, Capacity, and Iteration planning
- Solid understanding and implementation of Scrum and Kanban
- Extensive knowledge of Software Development life cycle
- In-depth understanding of System Architecture, Databases, Process, and Data flow
- Strong conceptual understanding and implementation of testing methodologies
- Proficient in Automated Testing Tools and Strategies
- Proficient in version control repository GIT, CI/CD tools, and best practices
- Strong team management and leadership skills
- Analytical/problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
