Job Description

Our client is seeking a talented and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join their team and help us maintain and enhance the quality of our products.

Our client started with a drone mapping project to help Nepal recover from the disastrous earthquake back in 2015. Through this project, we realized the possibility of creating new value by combining drone and photogrammetry technology, and we are convinced that technology could bring positive change to society.

Responsibilities

  1. Meeting with the product design team to determine product testing parameters.
  2. Writing test plans and creating test cases for the product.
  3. Executes test cases under varying circumstances
  4. Documents and evaluates test results
  5. Detects, logs, and reports program bugs and glitches
  6. Tracks defects and helps troubleshoot errors
  7. Reviews test procedures and develops test scripts
  8. Partners with Engineers to drive QA efforts

 

Requirements

  1. Minimum 3-4 years of QA testing experience
  2. Experience in Agile frameworks and regression testing desired
  3. High attention to detail and solid analytical skills
  4. Good working knowledge of programming languages
  5. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  6. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  7. Assist in the analysis of complex requirements and design of effective plans
  8. Verifies that the application functions according to expected results and system requirements
  9. Able to work with members of the Agile team including Development, Product Designer, and Product Management

Tool Knowledge Required:

  1. Project management utilities like Jira
  2. Knowledge of the Automation framework is a value addition.
