Job Description

Our client is seeking for an Senior Android Developer who is creative, thinks critically, and is committed to leveraging technology for social impact.

Our client is a startup dedicated to revolutionizing the lives of people with disabilities. They’ve developed an innovative wearable AI device that utilizes motion recognition technology, enabling individuals to interact with smart devices and reclaim their digital autonomy. Their cutting-edge technology also supports physical therapy by providing measurable, real-time feedback for tailored practice.

Salary: 1.5 to 2.5 Lakh per month

Location: Kupondole, Lalitpur

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
  • Utilize the Android SDK across different versions of Android. Implement and manage Bluetooth APIs, with a focus on BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy).
  • Handle data transfer over Bluetooth, ensuring efficient and secure communication.
  • Design and develop user-friendly mobile interfaces following UI/UX best practices.
  • Debug applications, write unit tests, and use tools like ADB for effective troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

 

Requirements:
* Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, which are the primary languages for Android development.
* In-depth knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android.
* Experience with Bluetooth APIs in Android.
* Understanding of networking protocols and experience in handling data transfer over Bluetooth.
* Familiarity with the principles of mobile UI/UX design and development.
* Proficiency in debugging, unit testing, and use of tools like Android Debug Bridge (ADB).

Experience:
* At least 5 years of experience in Android development.
* Prior experience in developing Bluetooth-related applications, particularly those involving BLE.
* Experience with smart home systems and IoT (Internet of Things) devices can be a significant plus
