Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled SQL Developer with over 4 years of experience in PL/SQL programming to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing PL/SQL code, as well as supporting database-related applications. You will work closely with other developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability of our database systems.

Location: Naxal, Kathmandu

Salary: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:
o Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
o Optimize and tune PL/SQL code for performance improvements.
o Write complex queries to support data analysis and reporting needs.
o Perform database design and modeling activities.
o Implement database changes and updates according to business requirements.
o Monitor and ensure the health and performance of databases.
o Develop and execute unit tests and validation scripts to ensure data accuracy.
o Maintain comprehensive documentation for database designs, PL/SQL code, and data integration processes.
o Update and maintain technical documentation for all database-related activities.

Qualifications:
o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
o Minimum of 4 years of experience in PL/SQL programming.
o Proven experience in database design and development using Oracle databases.
o Proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL.
o Strong understanding of relational database principles and data modeling.
o Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
o Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
o Knowledge of database administration is a plus.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
